OSLO, Oct. 17–Edward Gal on Interfloor Next One easily won the Grand Prix and the Freestyle at the Oslo Horse Show CDI3* in the first competition for the Dutch rider since the World Equestrian Games and the loss of the ride on triple gold medalist Totilas.
Edward and and the 15-year-old Dutch stallion were placed first by all five judges in both classes, the Grand Prix on Friday and the Freestyle Sunday.
The pair scored 76.50 per cent in the Freestyle and 71.659 per cent in the Grand Prix.
Fellow Dutch rider Aat van Essen on Premier was second in both classes with 70.60 per cent in the Freestyle and 67.063 per cent in the Grand with Sweden’s Kristian von Krusenstierna on Biggles third with 70.45 per cent in the Freestyle and 65.489 per cent in the Grand Prix.
